I was just listening to the Apple AI generated Newbie Werewolf audiobook. I was disturbed by the pronunciation of Jesus which came out sounding like “Jess-ass”. I’m not sure if that can be changed in an audiobook that has already been produced. Generally speaking I think the AI worked fine except for a couple of minor items. However, the Jesus mispronunciation bothered me a lot. I know it should be pronounced Hay-sus and that it is a fairly common name for male hispanics. I looked for a direct connection to Apple production of audiobooks but couldn’t find one and didn’t care to spend more than a few minutes looking for one so used this communication route instead.
You’re right, it’s supposed to be pronounced Hay-sus. Since this is all done digitally and they didn’t give me a chance to even listen to it before they published it, I’m not sure they will listen to me now, but I will try to get it changed. Thank you for alerting me.
